Located in the vibrant heart of Cincinnati’s Short Vine district, Ladder 19 is much more than just a neighborhood bar—it's a welcoming spot where history and hearty flavors meet. Once a genuine firehouse, this unique venue channels that spirit into a lively atmosphere that’s both cozy and inviting, making it an ideal destination for a relaxed meal, a casual drink, or a spirited weekend brunch.
Step inside and you’ll immediately sense the warm, rustic charm that Ladder 19 exudes. The décor nods to its firefighting roots, with subtle touches that spark a feeling of community and tradition. Whether you’re nestled inside or enjoying the fresh air on the friendly patio, this is a place that effortlessly blends laid-back comfort with spirited energy.
The menu is a genuine highlight, skillfully crafted to please every craving. Burger lovers rave about the signature Beer Cheese Burger—a juicy patty layered with rich, creamy beer cheese that delivers a satisfying, savory punch with every bite. Those wanting something a little different should try The BowWow!, a grilled chicken masterpiece crowned with grilled artichokes, sautéed spinach, and melted goat cheese, draped in a sweet house teriyaki glaze—so flavorful, you won’t even miss the bun. For a smoky, indulgent treat, their Saucy BBQ burger topped with crispy bacon, cheddar, and a fried onion ring is pure comfort food at its best.
Meanwhile, the Firefighter’s Grilled Cheese is a clever twist on a classic, stacking pepper jack and cheddar with bacon and fresh tomato on chipotle-grilled French loaf—each bite a smoky, melty delight. Wings lovers are well-catered for with the Ladder House Wings, available in generous portions and drowned in irresistible sauces that keep you coming back for more.
The menu’s breadth continues beyond the classics. Fresh salads like The Bucket List Salad offer a crisp, refreshing contrast to the hearty mains, while the Short Vine Burrito, with its blend of bacon, sausage, pepperoni, and mozzarella baked under marinara, invites sharing or solo indulgence. Don’t overlook the unique sides, especially the sweet potato waffle fries—a fan favorite praised repeatedly for their perfect balance of crispness and sweetness.
When it comes to drinks, Ladder 19 doesn’t disappoint. Their well-curated draft beer selection pairs delightfully with their menu, while cocktails like the Fireball Cinnamon Whisky and classic Mimosas elevate any brunch or evening hangout. Whether you’re here for bottomless brunch mimosas or a refreshing iced tea, the bartenders’ attentive, friendly service ensures your glass is always full. As one guest perfectly summarized, "One of the best bottomless booze brunches in Cincinnati."

Burgers are A1! I love this place, nice atmosphere and great food! I love their waffle fries. Don't forget about their drinks, those are awesome too! A fire hydrant or two, a burger, and white chicken chili...you'll be set!
First time here, and we really enjoyed it! Food was tasty... we had the Bucket List Salad and Ladder Classic burger with fries. Good beer selection, too! Service was quick and efficient, and our server, Michelle was very friendly and attentive!
One of the best bottomless booze brunches in Cincinnati (Mimosas or Bloody Mary’s). Especially since it comes with a food item, all for a reasonable price. Enjoy a Saturday or Sunday here and you won’t be disappointed.
Visited for #CincinnatiBurgerWeek. The beer cheese burger was delicious! Bacon goetta fries were good to. Friendly staff and prompt service.
Totally recommended. The wait is definitely worth it. Felt at home and patio was nice. If your into history this place also used to be a firehouse which is one of its best qualities. If you want to take leisurely lunch, and have some time definitely try this out!
